A rolling bearing is generally composed of an inner ring, an outer ring, a set of rolling elements and a cage. Bearings are generally classified into radial bearings and thrust bearings depending on direction of load. In addition, they can also be classified into ball bearings and roller bearings depending on the type of rolling elements and then further segregated by their different designs or specific purpose.
